Avinash Ganti, MD

Avinash Ganti, MD is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon at MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Ganti knows the Baltimore area well, having been on staff at many of the area hospitals.

He strongly believes in educating and including patients in the management of their disease process. In addition, he feels a collaborative approach with other health care providers is necessary in assisting patients with lifestyle modification, control of risk factors and indicated interventions when necessary.

Suzanne Kool, MD

Suzanne Kool, MD is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon at MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Kool helps her patients choose the best treatment option by collaborating with them to fully understand their unique needs and their individual goals for treatment and quality of life. She views communication with her patients, referring physicians and other team members as an essential element in patient care.

She has published and presented nationally on vascular diseases, and completed an NIH-funded research fellowship focusing on venous thrombosis.
