A career in nursing offers many opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others. At MedStar Harbor Hospital, we are committed to ensuring our patient services associates, care associates (CNA) and registered nurses are afforded these opportunities in an environment in which they are respected, challenged, given a voice and treated with the same compassion and loyalty they provide their patients.

Our Nurses

Every day, MedStar Harbor Hospital’s nearly 300 registered nurses provide high-quality, evidence-based, compassionate care to our patients. They can be found hard at work in our emergency department, inpatient units, and outpatient offices developing relationships with patients and their families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of providers, case managers, and supporting disciplines.

Our nursing team are highly motivated and strive to continue their education by attaining advanced degrees and certifications. You can find them in our community volunteering at vaccination clinics, charitable events, attending and presenting at national and local conferences to gain insights on policies and research at the forefront of patient care advances and innovation.

MedStar Harbor’s nurses are committed to partnering with our patients and their families to deliver excellent health care that makes a difference.
