Dennis W. Pullin, FACHE, president of MedStar Harbor Hospital and senior vice president of MedStar Health, is an experienced healthcare executive with expertise in business development and strategic planning.
Prior to joining MedStar Harbor Hospital in 2009, Pullin served as senior vice president and chief operating officer at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a MedStar Health sister hospital. He has more than 25 years of experience in a variety of executive healthcare positions with entities such as St. Luke's Episcopal Health System, Baylor College of Medicine and Columbia/HCA Medical Center Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Pullin received his undergraduate degree from Texas Lutheran University, his Master of Science from Texas A&M University, and completed post-graduate studies in Cardiac Rehabilitation from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has authored numerous articles and publications and served as editor of several sports medicine magazines.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Health and Medical Research Foundation. Pullin is a Board member of the Healthcare for the Homeless and the American Heart Association.
