About Philanthropy at MedStar Harbor Hospital
 MedStar Harbor Hospital is a great source of hope and healing. While we touch many lives throughout the community, our impact is only as great as our resources.
MedStar Harbor benefits greatly from philanthropic contributions, using them to help update facilities, purchase advanced medical equipment, and initiate and expand programs that meet our communities' needs.
With funds raised during the past two years we have made compelling investments in our hospital and community. We purchased blanket warmers for our oncology patients, a digital C-Arm for our OR to diagnose complex medical issues, and bariatric wheelchairs and respite benches to ease transportation around our campus. Donor support also allowed us to fund an ultrasound machine for our Fetal Assessment Center, infant warmers and neonatal resuscitators. We also responded to the needs of the community by raising funds to successfully launch Healthy Schools Healthy Families, our community health and wellness initiative. Facility upgrades, technological advances and community programs – your contributions truly impact every experience at MedStar Harbor.
